Results are in!

We just got good news from Tufts Medical. The results from the integrated screening came in and we were put in the lowest risk category for all three conditions!

Risk for Down's and Trisomy 18: 1 in 10,000 (lowest possible)

Risk for Spinal Bifida: 1 in 6,000 (also lowest possible)

Yay!!

Belly shot- Week 15

Eek! I'd like to partially blame this pot belly on the Indian food buffet that we had for lunch....

Our new humble (temporary) abode

It's nothing fancy to look at and it's even smaller than Ellwood Street, but it's quite cozy!

Time to say good-bye....

....To 5 Ellwood Street, #3.

On April 4th, we finally closed on the condo. While it was definitely a huge relief to close, there was some sadness about leaving our little 658 sq ft. home.

We've had some good memories there, including:

* Living together for the first time (and surviving)
* Getting engaged
* Finding out we were pregnant
* Isis
* Jill's discovery that Eric really is, in fact, quite handy around the house

Some things that we will NOT miss:

* Sneaky neighbors who steal your Martha Stewart magazines
* Hot water that runs out in 10 minutes
* Traveling up and down 4 flights of stairs to do laundry
* Ability to hear your neighbors sneeze

It's good to move on, but we definitely had some great memories there to look back on!

Houston, we have a heartbeat!

Today I had my monthly check-up and we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time- 158 bpm! We had seen it on the ultrasound, but this was the first time actually hearing it. Sooo neat! It came up right away as soon as the doctor put the doppler on my belly. She said we had a very cooperative baby. Let's hope that keeps up during the birth and beyond!
